23rd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards
Weise Communications received the honor of being included in the 2008 Denver 50, an annual show and gala put on by The New Denver Ad Club featuring “the 50 biggest marketing ideas to come out of the Mile High City.” Work was submitted by 33 agencies and reviewed by five “world-class” judges. The selected designs were revealed December 2, 2008 at Mile High Station. Weise's Just In Case campaign once again brought the agency prestige and recognition.
Weise wins five awards in the 2008 Colorado Healthcare Communicators' (CHC) Gold Leaf Awards, including:

CHC is an organization of healthcare professionals in marketing, public relations, communications and media relations, and serves the needs of hospitals, nonprofits, physician’s offices, insurance companies and other healthcare organizations in Colorado. Every year, CHC holds it Gold Leaf Awards ceremony and banquet to recognize those professionals and agencies who have developed and implemented compelling and effective marketing, advertising and public relations efforts for Colorado healthcare.
Weise wins four awards in the 2008 American Graphic Design Awards (GDUSA) for its work on the “Just In Case” ER Campaign, Sanity Solutions’ branded collateral, Prostate Cancer Foundation’s 2006 Annual Report, and the Industry of Indulgence logo. For the fourth year in a row, GDUSA received over 10,000 entries and uses a highly selective process to recognize the top 15% with awards.

Weise Wins Silver and Bronze at The American Marketing Association’s 20th Annual Peak Awards in Denver (May 2008) for the logo and communications categories with The Prostate Cancer Foundation's 2006 Annual Report and the Industry of Indulgence logo. Established in 1937, AMA is a professional marketing association with over 42,000 members worldwide consisting of marketing practitioners, educators, and students. Weise Communications brings home four awards from the 25th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards (April 2008), including gold and bronze for The Midwifery Group at Swedish posters and newspaper ads, as well as a Gold for the Prostate Cancer Foundation's 2006 annual report, and a merit for direct mail pieces created for Green Valley Ranch. Healthcare Marketing Report states that, "A record number of over 4,400 entries were received in this year's competition, making the awards the largest healthcare advertising awards competition."
The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition. The awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising and strategic business development.

Weise Communications wins the Colorado Healthcare Communicators 2007 Gold Leaf Award (November 2007), for our development and production of the Prostate Cancer Foundation’s (PCF) 2006 “One Team. One Goal.” Annual Report. To communicate the “One Team. One Goal.” message and to tie in the PCF's strong association with Major League Baseball, Weise Communications created an athletic, baseball-themed yearbook, with an emphasis on the fact that all types of people battle with prostate cancer, not just the men diagnosed with the disease. The paper was selected to feel like a baseball game program. The PCF’s annual accomplishments and yearly recaps are punctuated by statistics and a uniform motif. In an effort to increase support for the Foundation, a remittance envelope was included on the last page of the book, resulting in a drastic increase of first-time donor rates over the previous year.

The Aster Awards, hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today and Creative Images, Inc., is a national healthcare marketing awards program recognizing healthcare institutions and advertising agencies across the nation for excellence in medical and healthcare advertising.

Weise Wins a Silver and a Merit in Healthcare Marketing Report’s 23rd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards Competition (May 2006). We were honored with two awards in Healthcare Marketing Report’s annual advertising awards competition: a silver award for a logo and letterhead package designed for Aspen Family Medicine—a Colorado-based family medicine practice—and a merit award for “Give Your Baby a Beautiful Beginning” patient handbook designed exclusively for The Medical Center of Aurora.
