We thought this ad for the 2017 Subaru Outback was particularly charming and poignant. What especially piqued our interest was the expert use of humor that initially grasps the viewer’s attention and maintains it throughout. When this is combined with the mom’s contrary and seemingly indifferent reaction at the end of the ad, the overall message is effectively emphasized.
